State Supervision programs serve youth who are not succeeding on probation.
Facts about State Supervision
- State Supervision youth remain on probation while in State Supervision Programs.
- Programs focus on education and skills development to prepare youth for a successful return to the community. Education programs are provided by Youth in Custody staff.
- State Supervision is not appropriate for seriously emotionally disturbed and/or violent youth or sex offenders.
